George Orwell was born in 1903 in India; when he was young he went to England to study at the Eton College. Him and his wife were a socialist during the Spanish Civil war and when the WWII broke out the became an editor for a paper.
His most famous novels are “Animal Farm” and “1984”
Animal Farm is a political and allegory novel, it talks about a group of animals who want to take the control of the farm they live on. It reflects the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the period of Stalin’s domination.
1984 talks about the “Big Brtoher” a mysterious and powerfull character who observes the world through the telescreens. Winston and Julia want to destroy “Big Brother” so they enter in a secret association called “Brotherhood”
