George Orwell was born in 1903 in Indian. He spent his chilhood in England at Eton Colloge, but he didn’t like the snobbish atmosphere. He started to develop an indipendent – minded personality, professed atheism and socialism. He returned in Europe and he decided to start a social experiment, he lived in absolute poverty. The most amous novels are: Animal Farm and 1984
Animal farm is a political allegory and dystopian novel. This novel talk about a group of animals who take control of the farm they live on. It reflects the Russian Revolution and the period of Stalin’s domination, and the animal are metaphors of the most famous politicians around him.
